Coincidence?

Today was a slow day for me.
I was reading a book, and suddenly felt an internal urge to have a light
trip. I went forth with doing so, as I felt it was a good time and its been
a little while since I've traveled.
Unfortunately though, I left my primary piece at a friends house, so I
had to use a regular pipe w/ flame so it wasn't very efficient.
I sat in half lotus on my floor and fell into a deep meditative state.
I stared into my wall and was somewhat hypnotized by its movement and
changing texture. About 4 minutes into this, I began thinking of my
grandfather who I hadn't seen in a few months knocking on my door asking me
to help him with some work.
About 30 seconds after this thought came about, There was a knock on
my door. Sure enough it was my grandfather. He walked in and at this point
I was on my couch. He got up about 3 feet away from me and began talking.
This made me a bit paranoid because I knew my eyes must of been the size
of dime and I felt very calm and un human if you will and for someone to
just bardge in and begin interacting with me was so incredibly overwhelming.
It was very difficult for me to focus on him as the room around him
was shifting and morphing into shapes. Anyways, the first thing he said was
"Wanna do some mule work for me?"
I replied "Uhh wait what?"
"I need you to..." yadda yadda.
It just amazes me how this happened.. But my main appreciation of this entire
experience is that I didn't use my oil burner and blast off because I can't
say it would of went as well!

Is it even possible that coincidences are "just" coincidences? Seems like a synchronicity for sure. I have had some weird connection things with my grandparents as well, especially relating to psychedelics, and it has made me wonder about our underlying psychic connections. I do know that I would certainly not want to be interacting with my grandparents while tripping so props for holding it down!

Thats awesome. I have had many experiences like this, not with DMT tho.

Is this a regular thing that your grandpa does? Coming over and asking if you want to do some work for him? And in the same manner? If not has it happened that way before ever?

I have noticed that repetitive things are easier to predict. Could have something to do with certain parameters being a certain way leading him to be more apt to asking you for help and maybe those same parameters you can see unconsciencely leading you to think about it happening. Like for instance if its usually yard work he has you do, that requiring a nice day and having to be a certain time of week. So in a way your expecting it however your unaware.

I think their are several different things that assist in our ability to see future events before they happen. I wouldn't be at all surprised if working with DMT has caused you to become more sensitive to whatever is required to sense events happening before they do. Meditation, tryptamines, spirituality, they all bring us closer to something. That something is usually linked to this kind of thing.

That is trippy incidence, makes me think of the movie donnie darko, when they have those wormholes come out of them before they act.

Maybe because he was so intent on you, you could maybe sense the connection he had made, like when dogs can tell their owner is coming home even though they are unusualy late. ?

You should read a post i wrote other night, i had an experience related.

very interesting. coincidence ? i don't think so. i do not believe in coincidence anyway

these kind of things happened to me many times i just knew what was gonna happened.quite scary sometimes. i was never on dmt or anything when it happened though.

i wish i knew the lottery numbers but it does not work that way

i see this as some kind of connection to the other parallel universes where you or others may live other lives. who knows maybe its some kind of jump from one parallel universe to other without noticing you have done so.

in your case, and this is all just my speculation, maybe your grandfather rung your bell at that time as you where on dmt and then you jumped to the same scene just few second later

or you saw the scene in the other parallel universe and then it happened in this one.

Another speculation

imagine we are all one right ? I am all there is. so you are me and I am you and I am all the other humans lives right? that means I should be able to access all peoples lives cos its mine anyway ? still following me cos I am starting loosing it

so all this info is not accessible for me for a certain reason (my safety maybe not to go mad ) but from time to time error in matrix happens or not error but knowledge about knowing how to access all this info. then we can see all what was gonna happen or what already did happen or is happening right now.

anyway I like these kind of thinking because no one knows it all so who can say I am wrong ?

Cool story. Shows you the intuitive powers we possess. I believe we can channel these powers, but they reside within a locked door, and in this case, DMT was the key to open that door.

Interesting story. I started reading PIT (psychedelic information theory) last night and this reminds me of an insight i had after reading about the idea of psychedelics creating conditions within the brains neurochemistry to perceive non-linear information.

Like if the dmt interacting with the receptors in your brain, sets off a chain reaction allowing you to take in normally ignored, or inpercievable/incomprehensible information & process it in a way that gave you the perception beforehand. Some kind of information your grandfather was emitting through his neurochemistry. I have similar beliefs this has something to do with deja-vu as well.

It just seems to make sense to me that novel structural-analogs of endogenous (& in the case of dmt, endogenous itself) neurotransmitters interacting with the receptors in our brain seem to have some kind of fractalesque amplification of perception, leading to phenomenon not explainable any other conceivable way. Possibly through model-able laws of nature & molecular physical interactions between the exotic neurotransmitter analogs and the receptors.

Who knows, maybe someday esp, psychic communication, dreaming, deja-vu and other altered states will be able to be explained scientifically.

Jung's book "Synchronicity" is still one of the most clear articulations of this phenomenon.

The closer you are with someone, the more deeply synchronized the two of you are, and the more likely you'll be able to intuit their actions ahead of time. That thing with the phone ringing and you just knowing in your heart who it is- most likely with closer connections.

Synchronicity is just a fact of life, I no longer find it weird. But I do definitely look at it as evidence of our universal interconnectivity. If we were all separate, synchronicity would be a miracle. With us all connected, it's inevitable.
