Cold water soak(cant find anywhere)

I swear i saw it on these forums or ayauschua forums either way i cant find it. But i have 4oz of caapi and is wondering how to cold soak. I assume i leave it in a crockpot of water there all crushed up for a couple of days then i filter out the cold water and reduce it to a drinkable amount?

Since were on the subject my dog would be interested in trying this method, he has some leaves and some vine should he do them separately you think or could he blend the two together?

The only problem i think of is that with all types of materials vines & leafs it might be harder to filter.
