Commercial Syrian Rue extract as good as self-made?

Hi,

I'm looking into getting some Syrian Rue extract, to avoid nausea etc.

Many people seem to buy the seeds and do the extraction themselves, e.g. like this:

Since this seems to be quite time consuming and possibly error-prone for newbies, I'm wondering if you can just buy the extract?

I don't think we can mention suppliers anymore here.

Certain commercial suppliers do a thorough extraction/re-x many times while others may not even purify their product after adjusting to neutral after first basification and still sell it to people. These compounds are not FDA approved for human consumption and thus the purity of the product is relatively unknown; the consumer is at the mercy of the vendor's manufacturing ability so it would be highly advised to either thoroughly research how they make it before buying, OR instead of wasting time and money finding out whether or not their product will burn a hole in your stomach lining, you could simply learn how to safely and efficiently extract and purify harmalas for a fraction of the price and risk to your own health at the hands of an unregulated drug manufacturer.
