Compelled to build an Enlightening Device.

Sorry if this is the wrong board to post this topic in, but I didn't know where else it would fit.

Before I had given this idea too much form, but I've editted it to tell the essence of the idea:

I was compelled to build a device; No idea how it's built or what it does. Just that it would serve to enlighten our species and our planet.
Enlighten could mean provide a sustainable powersource. But could also mean anything alse that may in any sense enlighten mankind.
I mean to stick to the hexagonal tube-light shape as SWIM had seen it in his DMT vision.

I call it the "vague"core of the idea, cause indeed it is extremely vague as of yet.
With more Intuitive input, and later also practical, factual input (of myself and of you guys) I hope to make this concept less vague and more practical.
For now, don't let Rationality get in the way too much and help me dream up this device.
If you feel me, that is. If you feel this is nonsensical and not worthwhile, don't bother participating in this topic.

Interresting. What possible link might lasers have to consciousness?
Inspires me to wonder. What would laser do if it shone into a large DMT crystal?

This turns out to be a topic about attempting to let intuition run wild and seeing where it leads us.
My cat told me he has been having the most incredible DMT experiences some years ago and in one particulair Journey he appeared in a dark room,
poorly lit by some device that looked like a lamp of some sorts. It consisted of 2 big hexagon-shaped frames of dense, dark-material.
In between them were 6 long, cylindrical gas-discharge lamps were suspended, fixed into the 6 corners of both Hexagonal frames.
The "cylindrical lighting tube"-looking tubes emitted a strange, faint, minty-green light in the room. SWIM's cat had nooooo idea what it was or did.
Perhaps this design or parts of it can be of use in contructing the device I'm somehow compelled to create. I feel natural and geographic forms as seen in DMT experiences should be very much involved. Recently I've been fascinated by Geodesic Spheres.

What about the Induction and Radiation/Transmission of Conscousness expanding energy?
NN,DMT, for instance is a Molecule that, somehow, has the power to raise awareness and dissolve ego in humans. Or rather it has the capacity. Somehow it seems to vibrate the structure of the ego appart with a very high, powerfull vibration. The familiar Hum.

It could be interresting to learn more about the energetic properties of the NN,DMT molecule.

Hmm, you have these brainmachines. Or common audiodevices on wich you can play binaural beats and listen to them through common headphones. That works pretty well.

In relation to the previous. If it is true that DMT crystals emit light when crushed, it is probably possible to build a LASER that uses DMT as LASERmedium.
I don't know if it will enlighten people, but it would definately be a fun hobbyproject to make a DMT-LASER.

There are several ways in wich you could try to do this:1- Use flashlight, like in the first LASER ever build 2-Use an electric charge like in gaslasers to excitate DMT gas 3-Build a diode with DMT as a crossmedium and 4-Crush DMT crystals if that does indeed produce lightflashes.

In all cases you'd need to know the exact wavelength of the light emitted and use a mirror and a 50% transparant mirror placed in front of eachother with the exact distance of an X amount of wavelength's to cause the light emmitted to oscillate between these mirrors and thus..

@ Polytrip. I have this Intuitive feeling it can be used to enlighten people. I'm just completely in the dark as to how.
My intent isn't even entirely clear to me, it's only that I intuitively feel it will be very rewarding to explore this concept.
Most inventions where invented by accident, when intending to do something else(as with LSD-25) or doing nothing at all. I've never truely dared to let my intuition run wild without rational interference before and I'm curious where it would lead.

A Laser with DMT as laser medium would be nice. I really wonder what kind of light beam it produces. Would the huge amount of light however not severely degrade the DMT crystal?
Then it would degrade to what... NMT?

iirc, serotonin production occurs during a resting state; serotonin gets acetylated, then metabolizes to melatonin.
and a device which would elicit DMT production would shut down serotonin production (temporarily, of course).

No, my wife teaches anatomy and told me that. But I did a quick search and came up with this. The sunlight actually suppresses the production of melatonin which allows serotonin levels to rise.

then you must've not been on the internet long. i've seen stranger ideas back in '99.

while idealistic and not very practical, this is hardly something far-fetched, given the direction of nanoelectronics technology.
enlightenment is such a relative term, though; an overused word by people who claim to have had near-death experiences, and other mystical ballyhoo

Another idea could be to trip with a crystal 100x times, and then use the energy stored in that crystal. Then you need to find a way to focus the energy out of the crystal, so you can point it directly at people.

Have you looked into orgone generators or orgone in general? you could get some ideas from Willhelm Reich's research.

I also like the idea of the binaural beats. maybe a visual aspect could be added as well. I'm not sure if a dmt laser if feasible, but maybe we can create some kind of visual color-vibration based on the structure of the molecule or based on the brain-wave frequencies that are part of the dmt-state?

Not very large. One wavelength of the light it emits would do. A diodelaser can be as small as a crumb of sugar.

I don't know what kind of practical use it would have, but i'm sure that something will be found once it's there.

If you could monitor DMT levels in your body, you could test a large array of potential stimuli which naturally increase your DMT level, which could include lights, sounds, vibrations, foods, thoughts, and a thousand others. Combine all the stimuli that work in a room and get naturally high.
