Concern about clear residue left from Q21Q21 tek

A friend tried using the Q21Q21 tek to get pure white spice, quite successfully, however there was a clear, semi oily, semi sticky residue with the crystals in the dish after drying.

Is this normal? The naptha was evap tested on a blank CD, no residue at all, and the MSDS says 95%-100% pure. Is there anything to be concerned about?

i have got this layer below the crystals a couple of times and it concerns me also as all my chems seem to be good.

my best guess is that its DMT oxide, but I have no idea what it really is. Im sure someone will be along shortly to give the answer.

naptha is the only pseudo-toxic chem he used, the rest is vinegar and lime.

what do you mean by re-x?

sorry i should have been clear, by re-x i mean re-crystalisation of the sticky film in IPA or naptha or acetone ect.
