Cooking Ayahuasca in Enamel pots

Hi. A friend will be cooking his first batch of Mother Ayahuasca on the upcoming summer solstice, and he is wondering if enamel pots are okay to use (over open fire), as this is the only thing he can find. The pots are made using steel and covered using enamel (glass finish).
