Could I Transplant Fly Agaric / Amanita muscaria to under my Leylandii?

I'm pretty sure the conditions under my Leylandii in the garden are about right for Fly Agaric / Amanita muscaria, so wondering if I happened to collect a few good specimens and let them drop spores, leave on the ground or bury some might encourage my very own patch of growth?
In other parts of the garden we seem to be growing pretty good crops of Field Mushrooms, or a very similar looking species, that we're not planning on eating.

I think Amanita muscaria has a specific ectomycorrhizal relationship with particular trees and cypress isn't one of them I'm afraid. Better off with pine and birch.

Ahh, ok, I was thinking it was a conifer and must be related to Pine.

Though a web search did say they would grow. I might have read that wrong!

The also grow under oak - in fact, that's where I've found most of them in the UK. The birch association could be as much necessity as preference.

It's probably easier to introduce a mycorrhizal species such as Amanita muscaria by directly inoculating the roots of a young sapling.

Well seeing as i was mistaken about the Genus of our Leylandii, thinking it was related to Pine cos it was a conifer, Its a moot point really, though we'll maybe go for a walk and collect a few to try just in case.

i have not found people online yet that sucessfully cultivated amanitas, If you find something, or are sucessfull yourself, please post it here.

it seems like amanita really does not want to be cultivated. seems to be very very difficult.

really looking forward to the upcoming amanita season.

There's also the possibility that this species requires a secondary symbiont, so you might have to work out which companion species of fungus needs to accompany the amanita - especially in the case of a non-traditional host like Leylandii. And I don't recall ever having found a mushroom under a leylandii, although that doesn't necessarily mean I've even looked.
