could WE be the problem and the answer?

Migrated topic.
In a way animals must see things as good or bad, just the way we humans do. What is good or bad, as in any judgement, is the result of a biological process. Any decision is a biological proces. and it is aimed primarily at survival. Even when one is in the proces of deciding what clothes to wear to impress the ladies. All human needs and desires are aimed at survival.

So assuming our decisions about right or wrong are somehow but always based on certain human needs, we are not doing much different than the animals. It is just that we have some human brain functions that allow for a human awarness of the decision making proces. Surely we dont think like a pig, but see what happens when you dont feed a man. So the arguments for the decision about right and wrong should be more straightforward. It will depend on the readiness of oneself and the other to cut the crap and get down to the basics of humanity. And indeed, certain cultural religious behaviour stand in the way of what would be more optimal for all of humanity on earth.

Yes morality is a function of biology. Aha, determinism!! ; ) And this morality applies to animals as well as humans. One could even consider plants to make moral judgement imo. It is just that the plants awarness of the decision making proces is very different from ours. Our moral decisions are decisions about survival, wrapped up in a coctail of human culture. "Bloody Con Fusion"

Cheers.
