Couple ACRB A/B extraction questions

Greetings all, SWIM is curious about a few things involving the A/B tek for ACRB posted by joshisom. One of the materials is NaOH/lye/caustic soda 5%. is there any difference between something thats caustic soda 5% and something thats 100% lye? very curious as he doesnt want to create to strong of an acidic reaction and accidentally disassemble some or all of the DMT. Also He is having a difficult time finding a glass turkey baster, what stores would have one or is there a type of plastic that will be a good substitute and not react with the aacids, bases or any other organic molecules throughout the extraction? Any and all advice is welcomed and appreciated.

use 100% lye, look for Red Hot Devil Lye on web. and from what i have read , very low or very high PH will not effect the dmt. and you will find turkey basters to be unusable.. at least for me.

I just decant until i have 95% of the NPS and no lye , a glass cup with a pouring mouth works very well...patience too.

eyedroppers and glass syringes work too.

Great thanks very much! especially for clearing up that ph wont affect the molecules, i get paranoid since we're going over solutions and intermolecular forces in chem right now haha i have already got a bottle of crystalline 100% lye roebic brand and was hoping i wouldnt have to get something else. i think ill look for a glass syringe just to be on the safe side when im done decanting most of it though. thanks again!
