This is not a refined TEK, this is for an easy, crude extraction. It can be further refined if you wish, I like to just make a simple crystallized crude extract.
I use a boiling-simmer on 100g of seeds in 1L of water, for about an hour.
I then use a mason jar or other glass receptacle, while filtering the liquid with a paper towel.
I discard the seeds, I've heard boiling them twice is more efficient. It would be wise to compost them.
Return the harmala laden water to the pot, and now use a more vigorous boil to remove water quickly.
Once it starts to get viscous, turn the heat down so it does not get scorched.
At this point, you can continue onto making a crude crystallization, or use it as a syrup for easy volumetric dosing.
If you wish to make it crystalline, follow these simple steps.
-set oven or better yet air fryer to 250f-275f, it does not need to be exact. do not go over 300f.
-more surface area the better, make sure to use glass or ceramic, because scraping will be involved, using metal could produce contaminated extract.
-place harmala syrup into ceramic or glass vessel.
-allow to cook down until some bubbles form, then smear it abit, it requires some mixing.
-when its no longer able to be mixed or smeared, you will know its crystallized.
-it should be crunchy, and can be stored for later use, just like the syrup can be stored. just make sure the water content is low
