Crystals forming from grass extraction!

So I found a ton of phalaris growing wild and decided to do a science experiment.
Had a freezer ziploc full of leaf, boiled with vinager and water, reduced then added enough lime to make it thick and clay like. Then did one small pull with warm IPA that I found lying around.
I let the IPA sit over night and now have about 1/4 left.
Now the interesting part..
There are several very small crystals forming around the side of the jar!!
I will keep yall updated as results progress.
 
Ok so evaporation is complete
The crystals were about the size of salt and now they are gone...
The jar smells like grass, no DMT smell.

Now I'm not sure what they were, maybe some large pieces of lime?
I half expected it not to work in the beginning though.

Maybe next time I will try defatting with some oil.
I will also try pulling with naptha instead.
 
Sorry to hear it didn't work out. Don't give up on it; a success would be a game changer.

Thank you for trying, and for posting the results of your experiment-- recording what doesn't work is just as important as recording what does work.
 
Ya I'm going to chalk this one up to elves they a are going to make me work for it!
