Can you translate-reference the symbols back to us?

Sure thing! There are some hints as well (Infinity with cross appears twice, but the first appearance implies it means glass).
Upside down equilateral triangle means water, add an asterisk and it means warm/hot water.
Upside down "Club" (think card suit) means wood.
Taurus symbol means freeze.
"Mirrored heart" means hours.
Plus sign with 4 dots is Vinegar.
Line with upward bump means Acid (signifying pH, since vinegar is already listed, hence the parentheses and value of 3).
Theta is Salt.
The 4 with the U means lye.
Circle with two lines (almost like an A) means Base (signifying pH, since Lye is already listed, hence the parentheses and value of 12).
Triangle with cross means Oil (petroleum/mineral), while the mercury symbol right next to it means spirit. Combine mineral with spirit, you get a solvent.
Scorpio symbol means separation.
Circle with a diagonal line going up and right means overnight.
Circle with triple crossed line means powder.
Two parallel lines (but the bottom has a downward hump) means precipitation. Just realized this is just an upside-down libra symbol
Hydrogen atom means Gold.

Oh yeah, and the upside down triangle with an asterisk in parentheses means hot bath (not to be added to the naphtha, just to warm it)

And if you want to be poetic, here's what it all means literally:
Glass is the vessel with the potential to create something from seemingly ordinary materials. Water represents creation and destruction, a process of transformation. Wood represents growth, change and vitality. Congelation (freezing) represents shifting the chaos of fluid into an ordered, solid state. Vinegar represents Purification and cleansing, while Acid represents the preparation for transformation. Salt represents stability and the body. Lye is a means of neutralization of the acid, where alkali (basification) represents the stopping of a process. Oil represents enlightenment and the divine, while spirit represents fusibility and life giving qualities. Separation does just that, separates the new from the old, the good from the bad.Powder represents the Philosopher's Stone, while the upside-down libra indicates it will be a precipitation. Finally, Gold means the process is finished.
