D limo mhrb emulsion

It looks like you have to wait a while for all the d-limo to seperate at times. Here, take a look at this thread, they're discussing the same problem, I believe. Scroll down a bit, it starts around the third or fourth post.

do you think it can take longer than a full day to separate? its been sitting for a day now and its still not separated.. can you use salt to help break down an emulsion with d limo? or will that somehow ruin the product ?:roll:

yeah you can use salt with limo... I dont know about BLAB, but from what people say about it being very thick, what I would do is first add more lye and water (if your container fits), and then if its not separated, add plenty of salt..

So i went ahead and used a turkey baster to remove some enough of the basified mix to add some lye water, this seems to be helping alot. thanks for the help

well i have 2 defined layers now but the d limo layer is brownish red, alot more brown and less yellow than that last pulls i did on the other batch
