D-limonen Vinegar Separation Help

Hi I am very new to this,
in fact I just tried my first 96ron tek and got stuck at the d-limonen vinegar separtion part.
I bought a separator like this http://www.amazon.com/Oxo-Good-Grips-Separator-4-Cup/dp/B0002YTGIQ
but can`t seem to separate them right...
When I try to pour out the vinegar to the dish, the d-limonen gets mixed into it...
It would be bad to have the d-limonen in the dish to evaporate right??
Do I need to get a separatory funnel?? or Am I missing something here?
Also how long should I wait after I mix the vinegar to d-limonen??

SWIM had the same problem, she thinks that she got a too large gravy separator. She did use a separator funnel after the separator to finish the product. You can also use a pipette or turkey baster to clear the d-limo off the top, but you'll either leave some d-limo or lose some vinegar in the process.
