Finished product was way darker than it's ever been. Sometimes I've seen some yellowish color but mostly the finished product is almost clear like crystals. My question is would it be ok to dump finished dark stuff back in crock pot and redue the steps, or will this just get wasted?

This is what was put back in. The darkwr pile is just that top layer that was kinda clumpy then the bottom layer isn't as dark, but it's still to dark in my opinion. It was thrown back in the soup and repulled. It wasn't much better. Came out grey and dingy looking. Any recommendations?

Do a recrystallization. That should clear your spice up for you.
