Defat and Shellite experiences

iv been searching around the forums and have found allot of different opinions on 'diggers' Shellite in oz, some are saying its no good except for re-xing and some say its ok. is anybody having good results using it warm to pull? and does D-Leninade* freeze precipitate?
and my second question is i read that there is no need to defat acacia in an a/b extraction. what are ur experiences and advice?

and one more, if shellite is no good does zippo fluid work?

Myself and a friend (both Aussies) do initial pulls with Toluene or Xylene, then evap.
This leaves a red goop.
We then do an initial re-xtal with warmed Zippo fuel, adding a small amount to the goop.
filter off the liquid, and freeze precip xtals.
The process is often repeated again to result in very pure xtal shards.
This is our process with Mimosa, but I have done similar with Acuminata as well.
I haven`t had great results in the past from Shellite for pulling, even when heated considerably.
Shellite should work fine for defats, but imo, try without and perform more re-xtals.
