defat emulsion, and goo salvage

hi everybody!
if swim defats a acid and water solution and there is emulsion will that contain much spice? because swim sucked it all up and discarded it, also swim has goo in a cup from a previous extraction can swim purify it?

Depending on how large the emulsion, it will contain some spice. A small layer of emulsion is no big deal, will only contain a small amount of spice. Goo can be cleaned up by recystallization.
