Lol naptha will not harm your skin bro, you were perfectly fine. Strong base or acid is another story.

Sodium bicarb will basify dmt fumarate but it will not pull dmt from plant material. It is much more soluble in water than lime.

..it's not about method, it's what ratio of mixture is going on..the 'goo' should eventually solidify..

I'm running a test extraction with a. confusa at the moment. I cooled a jar of naptha down to -35C and a layer of white crystal solidified and sank to the bottom after a few days. If the extraction went right that should be about 40/40/20 nmt/dmt/residual aminos.

Naptha can make your skin itch, accumulative exposures give skin rash, sore throat and headache. Its one of the least harmful solvents there is.

Anyone in the house painting business are exposed to it all the time, its the other solvents that cause accumulative poisoning and work injury.
