Delosperma (ice plant)

Hi SWIM,
I was taking a nice morning walk with two of my friends this new years and i noticed a lovely field of delosperma cooperi growing next to the path. I of course pointed this out to my fellows and told them i would be able to make DMT from the beautiful pink lady. My only question is how i should go about doing this. I am a very experienced with various extractions including mhrb,salvia,san pedro and looking for specifics so i can form a reliable tek for this spice plant.

It seems as though most alkaloids can be isolated from all plant sources utilizing an A/B method of extraction, or STB if you prefer, you should be able to isolate using the same techniques, as it is the same target alkaloid. Reccomendation? Dry the plant material, powder, and use just like powdered MHRB. If you have data concerning delosperma cooperi's DMT concentration, perhaps alter the 1/1/15/1 ratio used to match the total DMT amount in the reaction. Since I'm guessing that nobody has used this plant source before, because MHRB is easy to get, and has relativly high DMT concentration for the weight of the matter, that delosperma cooperi has not been tried before. That means the only way you're going to figure it out is to don your trusty chem goggles and rubber gloves and have at it!
