diablo blanco tiempo completo cactus tiempo parcial

DBTC CATP

Esteemed member
Hi my username is an acronym it stands for diablo blanco tiempo completo cactus tiempo parcial and it means white devil full time cactus part time. I'm here to be here and to learn and to be a part of the online forums. I grow cactus and I am hoping to grow lots of hemp and lots of cordyceps mushrooms all of which are hobbies. I'm interested in using banistereopsis caapi vine medicinally. That's about all I wanna share though so thanks for making a good resource for people to learn and for allowing people to come in and be a part of it all. If you have questions for me just to get to know me you may ask them but if i'm not comfortable answering then i'll let you know that it's not something I have an answer to so again, it's nice to be here

Hello and welcome - it's great to have another cactus cultivator on board. I've a few choice cuts on the go myself. Thanks for the positive feedback too! Between us all here we've put in a considerable amount of effort into maintaining a certain quality of information - and interaction - over the years.

Have you found our chat room yet? That can be good for getting into some more immediate discussions and getting to know people.

Have you done much fungus cultivation before? I'd recommend giving Lion's Mane a go as well if you can - it's a choice edible as well as a great medicinal. There are a good few of us here who'd love to see nice pictures of any cultivation efforts that you'd be happy sharing.

Are there some specific health issues you think caapi will help you with? I've been using Syrian rue as a health adjunct for a fair while now, and the two plants have a notable overlap in terms of similar alkaloid content, which you may already be aware of. You'll definitely find a good contingent of forum members here willing to sing the praises of harmala alkaloids ;)

If there's anything you specifically need help finding there's usually someone who will show up and help show you the way soon enough; meanwhile, have a good dig into the forum posts and other resources, I hope it proves both useful and efficacious for you.

I'm still really new to fungus cultivation but cordyceps and heat tolerant lions mane is my foremost interest. I'm not terribly experienced I have cordyceps agar wedges and a spore syringe from MMM and I have a boom room automated martha tent and my only concern with cordy is keeping it at 20 C/68 F. But my interest in that is to spread it to different locations that need medicinal mushrooms in areas with little infrastructure in regards to healthcare. I know that there is a little risk in regard to mushroom allergies but the cordyceps could be of interest to people with lung conditions and people who live in polluted areas.

My personal goals are small. 1. Grow cordy strains 2. preserve spores through agar, spore syringe, and print (cordy especially). And 3. Learn how to control temperatures at a constant 20 C/68 F.

To clarify I own a pound of B. Caapi that I'd ordered online a long time ago and didn't really know that much about Syrian Rue and I plan to use the vine powder up until I'm about to run out and order Syrian Rue which doesn't endanger plants in S. America. Growing B. Caapi is another response to sustainability problems relating to Caapi harvest. I do feel very bad about the use of Caapi vine because it implies so many smaller often invisible horrors associated with extracting sources of wild raw botanicals like Caapi from regions already being hit by logging and oil and agriculture

Since using Caapi vine I'm becoming more capable of expressing myself. That also means sometimes i've taken risks and got into debates and it doesn't eliminate impulsivity or emotion. It has almost made me a little bit more hotheaded but typically I notice handling arguments and stress more resiliently. I'm not sure. That's anecdotal lol I still get depressed too. I'm taking small amounts daily to help aid depression and the way that I'm taking it (small, very small pinch morning and before bed) is not a good way because you'd ideally want to know exact dosage. I consider it to be a harm reductive alternative to anti-depressants. You can't easily overdose on Caapi. I think that's what had me interested in working with Caapi as opposed to having to extract from Syrian Rue. Instant Gratification

Welcome to the Nexus! Hope you enjoy your stay are here and enjoy the vast amount of knowledge throughout the forums.

Glad to have another Cacti, Cannabis & mushroom Cultivator around the forum.

I'm just getting back into my hobbies but have some Cannabis and Myco projects started up and the revival/Survival of my Cacri collection 🫠.

I too have become interested in B.Cappi/Peganum Harmal and Psilocybin for health benefits, after reading some dated journals relating to my health condition.

Seeing as your interested in growing, I'll put a selfish little plug in here for Share The Seeds, for the hopes of a revival on the sister site www.Sharetheseeds.me

Was and could be a wonderful site again. There were a few people growing and sharing B.Cappi over there in the past. Set up an account and have a look through. Do read the rules there b4 posing and they differ from many sites 😉

Would love to see your Myco setup and Related projects. If you have the time and desire to share thrown up a thread in the appropriate sub-forum.

I'm in the early stages or getting prints to Agar to get my myco lab flowing.
.loom forward to seeing you snd your projects around-the- forum!

I'm going to share something about myself. My father is a victim of the Sackler family (he has a class action lawsuit against them and gets money in July) and has polydrug prescriptions (multiple drugs from multiple pharmaceutical companies). He's on a lot of medication. He was on 3 different blood pressure meds at once. He was on two benzodiazapines (Klonapin and xanax) (and he gets frequent amnesia from it and starts taking more medication). He was on MS cotin, fentanyl, suboxone (which is hard to get!) and had a previous history of abusing cocaine and had been kicked out of his household, abandoned by his mother, beat by his father, molested by an uncle, and has been institutionalized by prison. I share this in relation to the book I am writing on a counter-cartography of the modern world. I wanted to share that because he's currently on 26 different meds and if you suddenly stopped his medication both narcotic and non-essential medication it would lead to irreversible brain damage and other consequences and he's been institutionalized into depending on medication that he doesn't need and has ASD, parkinsons disease, and dimentia and i'm wondering here what's the conditions of his experience in relating to not only himself but the decisions he's made? Wanted to share it people so that you know where my belief in theory of a counter cartography of the modern world originated. Reposting this in my thread, thank you all for understanding and i apologize for the dark nature of my thesis

I am also a super positive person but i have PTSD and depression as well and I believe that slavery still exists in frontline practice
