Did the spice pick your first time or did you?

I read a cool book by Cliff Pickover called "Sex, Drugs, Einstein, and Elves" that had a section that talked a little about Terrence McKenna and his ideas. It was fascinating as I was expecting a straight science book.
Browsing in the science section of the bookstore a year or two later, "The Spirit Molecule" grabbed my attention. The cover art drew me in, and the subject matter sealed it. I read it in a few sittings, then read all the experience reports again. I did some research on line after, had my first successful extraction, and tried the results maybe a dozen times (maybe more...) before I found the Nexus.

It's nice to be home.

Spice picked me, I'd read about it for a number of years online and through the work of Terence McKenna, and was especially intrigued by the vocals he provided on Shpongle's monumental track "(The Gnomes Have Learned) A New Way to Say Hooray". I was under the impression that Spice was so incredibly rare I would never come across it, but about a year ago I met SWIM who knew of a reliable source, a very good friend in fact. She's provided me with about 60-70 Spice journeys so far, and it was definitely timed right. It came to me in the course of about a week after I discovered it's actually not at all rare. I feel the Earth was already speaking to me through the fungus, cannabis, and even at times 2c-b and LSD, but the past year with this special Spice has been an increasingly magical and enjoyable experience. During one experience "Gaia" (this female Earth Goddess I sometimes encounter) told me that whenever Spice has something to show me, it will be there.

The spice picked my first time. It was amazing. I heard about DMT maybe a year or less ago. I've been wanting to try it since but it was always impossible to find and the one time a friend and I were going to a party where DMT would be, I was ditched (I don't think they managed to get DMT though heh ).

I was hoping to find someone who deals. A friend suggested making it myself. Thus, the research began. I searched a lot of places and looked for teks. I found Erowid 1st & it sounded alright. Anyways, tried to make it at one point where I was pretty stressed and things went to shit. I wanted an escape and my extraction failed miserably.

I then found the nexus. I got some good advice, met some nice people in the chat room, got a lot of help. About a week later, I tried again. I was in a better place. Now, I can extract near-perfectly. The night I collected my crystals, I smoked 70mg and it was great. The DMT picked my 1st time and I'm glad.
