I found the difference between 10mg and 15mg to be vast.
I backed off exploring for a good 6 months after I did 15mg.
It shocked me. I felt I wasn't prepared for it.
I've recently began exploring with 10mg doses again. I'm almost ready for
15mg again.
The point is, I'd read you were considering going from 10mg to 20mg.
I wanted to advise you to try the mid point first, but I see you've tried that
before I had chance to post this.

Also good advice! Even a simple tea from two grams of Rue seeds 30-60 minutes before smoking has a huge effect. Much less DMT needed (beware: 20 mg was a life-changing breakthrough for me) long afterglow... simply brilliant.
Of course, always check for contra-indications: compatibility with medicines, diet etc.
Interesting experiment: I smoked a small amount of DMT (at most 10 mg) and after a minute or so put some harmala extract under the tongue; I could actually feel its warm glow spread into my body, potentiating the DMT!
And going to bed during this low-dose afterglow is very relaxing.
