Agreed. As you probably know, an evap test will check if acetone evaporates cleanly. If it passes this test (and potential plastic interaction is managed), I would presonaly be comfortable to use it as a carrier for direct e-mesh. Each free adult can make their own personal informed decision.
Regarding the plastic concern, I just found out that droppers are usually made with polypropylene or polyethylene, wich should be ok with acetone. Chances are dropper is OK (I would test it). O-rings are more of a concern, but one drop at a time quickly evaporated should be manageable I think.
