DMT acetate 'snuff'

I've been playing around with my acetates, trying different routes of admin and mixtures.

Yesterday I had a tremendous breakthrough.

15 drops of dmt acetate were reduced. This was then mixed with a bulking agent to turn the goo into a solid usable form. Once mixed i allowed the mix to dry longer on the burner using very low heat (i have an aromatherapy that uses a lightbulb with a dimmer switch). The mix remains somewhat sticky but much more usable than plain goo.

For the bioassay, i pre dosed with some freebase haramala (unmeasured amount, but tiny). Snorted it using the curved end of a straw, so that it makes a V, one part in the nose the other in the mouth and blow. 5-10 mins later the acetate was administered in the same way, using only a third of the total. Tilting the head back and blowing until feeling the mix leave the straw, then squeezing the nostrils to distribute it. The burn is there, but not unbearable and once it kicks in was totally forgotten.

MY GOD..... it has never hit me so hard, completely different to vaped spice, somewhat similar to an intense dose of aya, but much more sublime. The peak seemed to last for at least an hour with a slow comedown till 3hrs

Sounds interesting! The reports I have heard about snuffed dmt have usually been freebies or fumarate, which are apparently too harsh on the sinuses, or have an awful drip, but effective. How is acetate on the nose? I may give it a try

Your nose will feel a bit 'raw' afterwards but it didn't interfere with the experience for me. If you find the burn is too much try adding a bit more bicarb, too much bicarb will also start to burn though, so just play with until you find something that works.

So I've been using this mixture for a few months now and I am super happy with the effects and overall mode of admin.

When I first started with it I would pre-dose with some freebase harmala. Now I've found that it is much better to mix the harmala with the powdered spice. It produces a very nice powder which is easy to snort using a simple straw. 50mg of freebase harmala plus an equal measure of spice powder does the trick beautifully.

I've also found that the burn is significantly less now than when I first started making this. Now it doesn't bother me at all. The first round usually has more burn than following rounds, but this becomes negligible once the effect kicks in. Your nose will start to run and you will need to keep sniffing to keep it all in, but no big deal there.

Repeated dosing has a compounding effect, so take care! I usually reduce the amount of harmala with each subsequent dose.

The trick is to add the right measure of tumeric and bicarb and to make sure that you have reduced the liquid acetate all the way down to goo so that there is no excess vinegar remaining. Also I think that mixing in the freebase harmala right before administration also helps to neutralize any extra acidity.

Are you able to tell the right measure? I'd like to give this a try.

it's not too difficult to figure out. Just reduce a quantity of liquid dmt-acetate until it becomes goo. When you stir it around there should be no loose liquid.

Its good to use a very low heat to reduce it all the way down. Too much heat and it will become a hard tar, which is no good, too little heat and it will remain too sticky. The bulking agent is what makes it powdery. It will remain a coarse powder, slightly sticky and won't dry out completely until you add the freebase harmala, which i recommend to do right before admin, rather than as a whole batch. That way you can play with different ratio's.

The mix should progress in the same way it does in the photo's above. First it becomes a paste then as you keep adding a pinch of powder at a time, it starts to become granular. You need to work it well with a spoon till it starts to disintegrate.

I've never measured quantities. Just go slow and you will be fine. The first time will most likely be a bit uncomfortable. Also try not to snort so hard that it goes straight to the back of your throat or into your sinuses. It should remain in the nasal cavity till it all gets dissolved.

So...two days ago it tried this reciepe.

I used 100mg spice and dissolved it in vinegar. Reduced everything to stiky goo in the oven at about 60°-70°C.

I added two pinches of sodium bicarbonate. No visible reaction took place.

Then I went on adding tumeric to bring this mix to powdery consistency. It slowly became a sticky powder. Over the time I added about 80mg Harmine freebase. This may have been to little.

It took some time to get the consistency right, but it worked.

Then I started my testing phase.

I took about 1/4 of the pile, made a line and snorted it. The burn was moderate. But my nose is a trained professional.

Nothing much happened. So I took another line of the same size.

After a few minutes minor effects were felt. I took another line and the effects became stronger, but they still were far from what one (or in this case, me) might expect.
Slight patterns, a little morphing...nothing serious.

So I took three of those lines within about 20 or 25 minutes. As the effects were pretty weak, I thought it might be time to test how changa works in this combination.

Careful as I am, I only took about 10-15 mg ...this was a good descision.

I took the changa in one easy hit and after a few seconds I thought...hm...ok...not much is happening here.

I looked at our cat. Our cat looked at me...stood up fast, ran over to me, sat itself on my side...and THEN the ride begann. The onset somehow took a bit longer than usal.

As soon as the cat sat on my side colorful OEVs and CEVs emerged in my visual field and alongsinde my cat I drifted through those colorful, warm, morphing, bending, changing patterns of light. I was in a bliss.

It was good.

Back to baseline one thing came to my mind.

Imho it's not smart to use red dye for insuffilation. It will dye your nose. This might raise some questions from other people.

How about ditching the tumeric and the sodium bicarbonate and using basica instead...or keeping the sodium bicarbonate and using milk powder/lactose instead of tumeric?

I've never had a problem with it staining my nose, but yes if there was a red drip coming out it might attract attention

The onset takes about 5-10mins usually. IME it works best to take at least 40mg of harmala on the first snort. So if yours was distributed throughout the spice it would not guarantee a tremendous ride unless you did the whole lot in one or two goes.

I am sure there are other combinations of powders that one could use.

Freebase spice burns more. This is why i've opted for this mix. I've never snorted fb spice myself, but i've used it sublingualy and that was painful enough.

I decide to give this method a try. I made my snuff, now I'm just waiting for the right day to try the stuff. I used citric acid instead of vinegar... I'll let you guys know how it goes when i find the time.
