DMT buitane ques.

I have a question, I was wondering what plant my friend would use if they wanted to use buitane as a means to get DMT :?:

So you wanna try the old "Honey Oil" technique eh? I actually thought of trying it but never got around to it yet.I don't know of the solubility of DMT in butane,but I think it likely is soluble.Only one way to find out,try.I would try with MHRB due to it's very little oil and wax content as opposed to Psychotria Viridis leaves.Give it a go man and tell us how it turned out.

Yeah, all you have to lose is a can of butane and some time. If the butane doesn't pull anything, you can still do an A/B on your material. I'll bet that it pulls a lot. Maybe some red crystal too. :twisted:

Here's a thread about making hash oil with that procedure. As far as I know, it hasn't been done and reported with MHRB. You could be famous. Or, rather, your alter ego could.

Noman-You can look it up.-There was a thread about this at "DMT WORLD", if I remember correctly it was done succescfully with propane in a different manner than the hash oil method but the same in concept. I'm not sure if it waas MHRB but I think the experiment yielded crystals

hi, I think this method is swell with thc but could be totally worthless with mimosa. These solvents extract fatties and not alkaloids. Dmt is by no means an oil!

DMT is alkaline, Butaine and propane or non-polar solvents which pick up alkaline compounds, Naphtha can be used on kief to produce a very nice THC oil. The reason acid is involved in a DMT or alkaloid extraction is to make it soluble in H2O and insoluble in a non-polar solvent

Another thing about this that with kief or bud, if Naphtha is used it'll take out all sorts of fats and greens, butaine only takes the thc oil and leaves the other oils. MHRB dosn't have much fat or oil and no greens so it could be a candidate for a clean DMT extract, and I'm fairly sure I read about this at DMT world back in the day where in propane was used on some plant matter, the guy said he got crystals I think
