Dmt containing plants in New Zealand

Hello fellow psychonauts

Needing help finding dmt containing plants in NZ, I've researched around and determined that Phalaris Aquatica is probably my best shot for alkaloid contant+avalibility, although I've also seen that it's pretty difficult to separate gramine from the DMT, which could be toxic at high enough amounts, is this something I should worry about? If so are there any other plants I could try that grow here.

Also would it be worth a shot to just try importing some mhrb online into the country, the reason I haven't tried that yet is the fear of customs seizing my package, maybe I could take my chances and order a smallish amount (100 grams or so) and see what happens.

Hi Cosmickiwi.

I lived in NZ for 9 years from 2008 till 2017 and the main reason I left was actually custom issues. I did manage to import some plants and compounds but I did fall under controlled delivery and my address was flagged by customs after the second delivery... I would be careful with phalaris, I heard from people here in Europe that toxic compounds require a lot of work to be excluded.

Mushrooms and Salvia Divinorum are easy to obtain within NZ - I grew salvia at home without any issue, actually with perfect weather conditions it was the most successful harvest I've ever had.

I recall the episode of a guy who imported large amounts of mimosa and found police waiting for him at home - I would suggest to try with small amounts via the Netherlands suppliers or Australia - I did receive several packages from Australia with plant matter without any issue, always small amounts at a time.

I don't know about NZ, but what about acacias? Acuminata, maidenii, floribunda...? They should do well in NZ.

And if your climate is good for Salvia, it must be frost-free and therefore it should be good for the Psychotria hybrids too, like 'Nexus' and 'DW02'.
Ditto for Mimosa hostilis and Acacia confusa.

I remember there being acacia trees in a park in my area, not sure what type but I think Acacia maidenii (which would be good enough), ill go have a look and try to identify them/ take samples and test them for alkaloids. Could also try to find some online domestic vendors that sell acacia root bark, don't know how much luck ill have with that though.
