Hello everyone

I just finished my second dmt batch using the same tek

As a feedback I have to say that I had the same problem to separate naphtha so I had to add 200ml+50gr. lye.

What I got now is that the first pull looks kinda dark, even though that I was very cautious pulling the naphtha .

The second pull was much cleaner in colour. For both pulls I used last year naphtha

Re-x works too, it's up to you. Why the hurry?

Just be really careful and follow the instructions to the letter. It's better to get it right in the first place than having to clean things up afterwards, especially if you're not entirely sure what it is you're doing...

The mistake that I made as far as I know was that I use a plastic funnel to poured ingredients into the glass bottle. Also, I think I shook the bottle too much, instead of stir.
Yesterday I mixed the spice with naphtha, and I left it in the freezer. The colour it seems better. I'll post a photo later on.

The reason you are told to stir rather than shake is because of a nasty emulsion that can form...

After mixing spice with naphtha, if you can get a small pipette it might be good to suck up the napthpa for re-xing and leave as much unwanted red sediment that sits in the bottom behind.

After a +24 hours drying with the fan and it's looks very dry, it seems like this kinda sugar . The colour is much white than before but stil having some brown-yellow tone. the final product was this.
How can I know if is safe spice?

you poured the solvent with product in it through plastic?

I'm not familiar with the tech you're using but plastics and naptha (or whatever things that do what naptha does) are the biggest no no. I dunno if you can even use that anymore but I know solvent generally dissolves plastics into your product. Do not smoke.

If I had extracted this, I would vape it. It looks fine. But looks and opinions of others based on imperfect photos posted on a webforum doesn't necessarily give you a definitive guarantee about the purity.

If you want more certainty for yourself (which is a good attitude - check things for yourself), then you could send a sample to a analytic laboratory and have a GC/MS done on it. Or you could order a TLC testing kit and do a more rudimentary test yourself. There is a link in the signature of endlessness' post, earlier in the thread.

I Bought a test kit. I did two test, one with ehrlich and the other with froehde. I also had some spice left from my previous attempt that I used , so I tested both batches.
Both gave me the same colour even though that the tek was followed different on each batch. With ehrlich I got like sour sweet sauce colour and with froehde I got like olive dark green with yellow edges. Accordingly to the test kit seller 'Reagent tests uk' I should get a purple like LSD colour for ehrich and a light yellow for froehde.

It is confusing. I can through it all away and start over again if is need it, but only if is really necessary.

The funnel is transparent. Is a cheap one, I don't know the specific material composition.

hdpe 1 (soda bottle) is no Good, hdpe 2 (milk jug) is okay, but still not recommended. If the funnel was 2 and you just poured through it, should be okay.

Btw, I'd vape the second pic, but I'm kinda reckless

The thing that confuse me is that I bought the test kit and it is not giving me the colour that according to the manufacture should be giving me. On the other hand, the spice looks much better on the second photo after that I mixed again with hot nafttha, freeze and let it for 40 hours or so . Do again Re-x, I think I did correct.
I may do Re-x to double check that i right ?
or any other method?

I don't know what to do. :(
