DMT extraction came out pasty

Hello all,

A friend of a friend finished an extraction (GordoTek) but it involved MHRB powder, pickling lime, and naphtha.

A freeze precipitation was done and it looked like it made beautiful white crystals, but then when he started to scrape it off the plate, it was pasty? It was very white, still smelled faintly of naphtha. Is this useable or salvageable ?

He just took the paste and added a little more naphtha to recrystallize, and I noticed some of the pasty stuff kind of stuck around at the bottom of the plate.

Have you evaporated all solvent? If you haven't, this happens.
I usually leave it for a day or two with decent fan.

I thought I did, but I only let it dry for 4 hours. Maybe it needed longer. I ended up throwing in a little more naphtha, refroze it, and now its drying again.

The goo is white and not yellow though.
