DMT extraction help

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum so if I'm posting or doing something wrong let me know

So basically I have started extracting, done it about 4 times using 50g of powdered mimosa root bark, sodium hydroxide,naphtha and deionised water, I don't seem to be getting alot and recently some of my pots have produced virtually nothing. So I'm just looking to see if anybody has any tips and important things I might be missing, or doing wrong, I have heard freezing and thawing the powdered root bark over and over is something I could try. I was wondering if something like, warming my jar up while naphtha is in there, or leaving it longer to collect the DMT up after slowly mixing it, any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you everyone

Ah yes I probably should of said what method I use. I use this pretty simple one. The Super Simple DMT Extraction Guide

Pretty straight forward. A/B is preferable to STB imo. But if you are following this, then a suggestion I have is yes heat the solution and naptha. You should get precipitation at room temp if the naptha was hot enough, put it in the freezer for maximum yeild, and make sure to let it sit to let everything settle to the bottom before you dump the naptha off.

So it would be a good idea to get my jar with everything in, and put it in a bowl of hot water, that's the safest way I can think of doing it. I keep the naphtha that I use in the freezer then I take it out and use it. So you'd recommend I let the naphtha warm up to room temperature first?

At least room temp. The warmer the naptha is, the more it can hold. This is why you get precipitation from putting naptha in the freezer.

And I say warm, but I mean hot, usea hot water bath over a hot plate, no open flame and plenty of ventilation. If your container is lidded make sure you release the pressure that builds with heat.

Mix and let separate several time over several minutes.

So you'd suggest I get a hot plate, I was thinking about getting one but I wasn't sure how important it was as it doesn't say you need one on that guide I use. Anything else you could suggest, I'm looking to get as much as I can out of it, I have saw people getting over 1g using 100g of powder, I get nowhere near that much

I would recommend getting everything hot, yes. A hot plate is preferable because naptha fumes + gas stove = not good.

But I would not say you NEED one. Or even to heat for that matter, but heat will maximize yeild.

I see all kinds of reports of bark wt. Vs yeild wt. Nature is going to vary region to region plant to plant, yeilds are going to vary. But as a ball park I'd say that's an ok assumption for yeild.

But if you are using cold naptha to pull it won't pull much.
