I don't want to watch a Youtube video - can you describe what you are/will be doing? This will be a useful exercise for you.
My (more general) advice would be to make the effort to learn and thoroughly understand the principles behind how extraction works - acid/base chemistry and polar/non-polar solvents being key areas - so that you have a robust and flexible basis for carrying out the process with whatever materials may be available at any given time.
Growing your own source plants is also a wise, long-term approach.
Read as much as you can on this forum and beyond to make sure any question you're asking hasn't already been answered multiple times before.
And enjoy the process. Your attitude during this journey makes all the difference, detachment from any outcome will be to your benefit.

I definitely appreciate the advise! I’ve been trying to read up on everything but there is so many complex teks out there most are hard to follow
