I've been lurking here for a while, first time posting so thanks to you all for having me. I live in new Zealand, where from what I can gather spice containg plants are relitively hard to come by. SWIM has attempted a few phalaris a/b teks to no avail, horrendous emulsions encountered that may take more than a month to break down, when finally pulled and evap nothing was left other than slightly oily residue (possible poor quality naptha). A few acacia species are of interest, acacia melanoxin grows profusely in my area?? MHRB would of course be preferable however SWIM is rather nervous about customs as they are notoriously strict here in nz, if anyone has any experience with this I'd love some feedback?

haven't been to NZ for a while, but id keep and eye out for acacia floribunda.. probably planted here and there.. otherwise grab a tlc kit and start testing plants or grow your own.. seeds are easier to import than plant matter and will provide you with near unlimited access to dmt in the long run.. not to mention the connection with the plant/s you are harvesting from..

Did you check this thread yet? According to it, the mentioned Acacia melanoxylon (careful with spelling to find more info) has quite small amounts of DMT generally but there may be variation between individual trees and varieties within that species so you might get lucky, could be worth a try. Also check this FAQ entry on how to proceed to find if it has alkaloids of interest

I'd definitely try to find different Acacias in your area, apart from the one you mentioned, and make small tests with them see if they contain alkaloids of interest. Please harvest them sustainably.
