Dmt extraction Pic of result and need little help

Hello !

I've just made my first extraction, and it was not I have planned lol

To explain I eyeballing all, so put water, lye, salt, MHRB around 50gr I think. Then pull with naphta and then made a freeze precipitation.

I was not sure about the quality of the final results it is possible that the lye is present in the spice ??

could you elaborate ina bit more detail how you did the extraction? otherwise its hard to know if there's a problem or not.. what do you use the salt for?

I put some gross salt in MHRB + WATER + LYE because I saw somewhere it was good for extraction.

Does this salt is soluble in Naphta and now in my final product ?

Salts are not soluble in naphtha so you don't have to worry about them contaminating your product.

It looks pretty clean to me. Lye/basic soup contamination will show up as black/brownish red spots..

You mainly have to worry about that whenever you suck up some of the soup when decanting the naptha off.

I usually double decant, which means when I suck the naptha off of the basic mhrb solution, I'll put it into a tall skinny shotglass. This allows any of the goop to sink to the bottom and makes it a lot easier to get nice, clean pulls.

If this is really freebase DMT (and I assume it might be), then let me congratulate you to a very clean product! (I rarely get such a clean white colour.)

How many pulls with naphtha did you perform?

No lye worries. Congrats on this extraction. That is some yummy, gorgeous looking spice. I love the visible clear crystals. . . . cannot wait to hear how it goes.

I feel good now, I've been waiting to be able to try it for many years and now it seems close to happens ! Keen to make the jump =)

About my extraction picture are just my first pull, on the second I got almost nothing, and for information I use too much solvent than needed (around 200ml...)that was first time, for the future I'll pull with much less.

you could let the second pull evap a little and put it back in the freezer and see if anything precipitates out. would be better than just throwing it out imo

i agree with smokey. evap the second pull down and see if theres anything at all left. i know i wouldnt want to throw any beautifull spirits away
