DMT hiding in basified solution?

Okay so I did a STB tek with 250 grams of Acacia Root Bark..... I'm under the assumption that I probably should've done an A/B with this particular plant(I heard it is much easier to work with). This past week as been a great learning experience and i DID get where I was looking for, but my product was such a small yeild, and so "impure?" that I needed to smoke it at the peak of an LSD experience to break through. Here's my tek in detail....

250g of ACRB

300G of Lye

3000 mL water

I split this all up into two mason jars, shook vigirously, and added 100mL of naptha.

Here's the thing, I've been doing pulls on this extraction FOR DAYS and my total yeild has been like, .5 grams of extremely weak goo :/ I ended up soaking it all up with lemon balm after failed vaporizations, and still failed to launch, and im talking like two massive milky bong rips. The only time I blasted off (and I blasted off beyond anything I expected) was while also peaking on LSD (I heard you need much much less dmt in this situation)

My question is, is there anything I can do to this basified solution to get some DMT out of it?! like, I know there has to be more in there than I pulled considering my product has been very sloppy and gooey. .5 grams of goo would be approx. 250mg of DMT and i know there has to be more than that in 250 GRAMS of powdered bark. Can I boil this? put it in a bigger container and add salt, lye, and more water? If anyone has had experience "saving" extractions, please let me know

With STB and a little warmth 120-140f you get a more full spectrum result. Its not a bad deal. But, there is no way to improve the material that you have, its hit or miss.

All you are "Trying" to do is raise the ph to around 10, maybe 12-15 for second pulls. 300G is 10x+ to much. ph paper!

I have never had good results when I tried STB on ACRB. When I went the A/B route on bark from the same sample, I had much better results.

Sorry I don't have any advice for salvaging this extraction, but I definitely recommend A/B on the next one.

Was your ACRB shredded or powdered? and did you do any freeze/thaws on it beforehand?

It's possible that the STB has not effectively broken down the vacoule's in the plant cells (where the trypatimes are stored).

If you still have the bark in containers in a basic solution (ie you didn't filter out the solids), then I would suggest acidifying the solution with white vinegar until you have a Ph around 12, and let this sit in a heat bath for several hours. Then re-basify it with your lye and pull - see what you get.

You can effectively have your solution in acid form for a week if you really like, but from what I gather, if you have your soup in a basic solution for too long, then this is when other plant fats and materials migrate over to your NPS easier.

Also, I have found when pulling with warm NPS as opposed to HOT, I get purer DMT and less NMT from ACRB specifically

If you still get poor results, it could be your material. As a backup, try using Cyb's salt-tek (or MaxION tek) with 50g ACRB. You should pull about 1g on average

I'm not positive, but I think this might be a typo. For acidic soaks, pH 4 is typically my go-to. :thumb_up:

Thanks everyone! I do indeed have the basified solution sitting here in my room. I'll try to acidify it and heat it ( which probably will take a lot of acid im assuming?

UPDATE!!

I decided to mix both of my jars into a gallon sized container..... I then added quite a bit of sea salt and a few more tablespoons of lye..... I then added about 250 mL of very warm (not quite hot) naptha. I did two pulls and put the dish in front of a fan.... Within a couple minutes the mixture became VERY VERY cloudy and white (my previous pulls were almost urine yellow) And I can see whisps of white all throughout the solution). I'm about to stick it in the freezer and see how this one goes Looks promising so far.:thumb_up:
