DMT tolerance?

A lot of people will come out and dive straight back in with DMT.. using more or less the same dosage. It is broken down very quickly and cleanly.

From what I notice with the added component of harmalas in changa is impacts in the experience. The "binding door" is kept open longer when taking in the dose because of the harmalas, which makes more of the DMT linger. However, once the experience is over, tolence still seems minimal. I won't say not extant though.

When I guide people with DMT or changa, subsequent doses are slightly elevated to account for any potential tolerance.

I think some of this may be related to molecule size. NN-DMT is small compared to LSD, which has a very clear and obvious talented build.

Hmm, that’s interesting I’d never considered the possible correlation with molecule size.

I’ve noticed the entry into hyperspace quite different with harmalas. Almost more like the way salvia comes on. Would you elaborate a little on what you mean by binding door?

I haven't researched that one, it's a reasoned speculation on my part.

"Binding door" is a term a made up to name a phenomenon. Have you noticed how if you don't get all your NN-DMT dose in a short window you stop being able to go much further? It's as though a door for binding closes until the DMT that's in the system is flushed out. Then one can redose. With harmalas on the other hand, it seems the door stays open and the more DMT you get in your system, regardless of time frame, takes you deeper.

Good questions all the way around. From my XP, you can hit a dmt vape after maybe 15-45 mins after you come back near baseline, for a similar experience at the same dosage. If you've been harmalized, you definately can stack one on top of the other; just keep in mind there is some biological math going on in the background.

The dosage + time curve of the MAOI (dependant on ROA of course!) in conjuction with the uptake speed + dose curve of the DMT. DMT will always be being broken down by your MAO enzyme at some speed, modified by it's current level of inhibition.

What I've found is that I can "feel harmalized" via a quickening of pulse and changes in salivation and slight perception alterations when I subligually get in my MAOI dose ... at about 10 mins onset. But in reality peak inhibition is at 20-30 mins after dosing it. MOAIs (even reversible ones) are sort of shown to not have tolerances in the short term (at LEAST) so harmalizing earlier tends to be a bit better to get max DMT inhibition when you get around to spicy times. Oral injestion recs start at like 2.7mg/kg of body weight, I think sublingual is like 10% of that.

IE, MOAI half-lives are much longer than trypamines, so govern yourself accordingly.

Interesting. Maybe that's what I actually mean.

I have noticed this yeah.. that's an interesting term for it. Its almost as if the template of the experience must unfold interrupted .. and if you spend most of it trying to dose higher as it's trying to unfold it just stops working until the 'unfolding template' completes. I've actually had this a happen few times recently.

@FiniteFox well articulated.. is that for orally ingested harmalas or vaped freebase? ..and I love your term 'harmalized'. Would be a great name for an album or even a psychedelic sitcom.
