That you believe the "news" is any sort of meaningful or truthful information indicates your level of awareness of what is.

I think he was making a joke, so no need to be condescending and arrogant.

The nonsense of the end of the world was purposefully designed to fool people into searching outside themselves for signs of change rather than looking within.

Purposefully designed by whom? This sounds like hogwash.

Everybody was given the option of awakening, and still has that opportunity. Awaken to who you truly are, through your inner guidance which has always been there, but is now more accessible to all. Why? Simple. It is evolution.

Who or what gave us that option then? This is just more of the vague nonsensical-ish stuff that you guys keep spitting out. There is nothing concrete in this and thus hard to even discuss. Confront this spirituality stuff with critical questions and all you get is vague, almost elitist responses about looking within, waking up, find your true self and such. To be honest, much of it sounds completely delusional and outright silly. I am sorry, but it really does from a critical point of view, and there is so much of this nonsense around here.

All of this also begs the question of what our true self/nature is, and this should be a question the "awakened" should be able to answer. But I guess you have some vague excuse to dodge this question as well, as usual. Ah, I actually see you have responded to this in the next part of your post.

I suppose it can sound like silly rubbish to the uninitiated, much like quantum mechanics can be to the non-scientist.

Except that quantum mechanics is just a foreign subject and language to a non-scientist. It doesn't bear the tag of spiritual, vague silliness, and when you dvelve into it everything is concrete, clear and supported by both theory and a tons of experiments. I don't think your analogy works.

The vast majority of humanity doesn't know, as it has been purposefully kept hidden from them.

More of this vague stuff. Purposefully kept hidden? Come on, do you know how strange and conspiracy-like this sounds? Kept hidden from who? Why? And how come you and your spiritual elite crew raised above all of the sheeps of the rest of humanity can figure it out? I get bad taste in my mouth.

Besides it is not something that can be taught, it has to be experienced. One can only be guided so as to be made aware of its possibility. The choice is always up to you...

This I don't know how to respond to, but perhaps I may ask you pros what the newbies must do to awaken..?

Edit: on a sidenote I do acknowledge that certain things must be experienced to be understood, but I don't buy alot of what you are coming with, Saidin :P

I dont think saiden is really trying to sell something that has to be bought with facts and pure reasoning. when people try to share these 'spiritual' explanations they convey it through the communication of language, concepts, semantics, which are globally the building blocks of rationality, logic and the modern scientific view of world/reality; birthing a very skeptic and well adapting-to-proof intellectual perspective!

Yet a inner journey has to be self traveled and experienced, beyond the mask of ego and into the true self/whatever. you could never communicate it to the outer world/others because it has to be communicated in our language and even if it is perfect and written by the most enlightened beings it [Read:bible for example] will be interpreted from all others who serve the ego/mask (thinking they are *it* [their name]) and depending on their identities belief system accumulated from the when/where they grew up and culture/education they will see all the words from within the tinted glasses of their ego: and they will know it to be nonsense. in a lot of religions the theme of being born again is huge, many of the times the first birth being one into sin and lost in the world/darkness (we are our name/ego/desires/intellect/etc) and then a death of ego and born again into a life of light/awakening/oneness/universe consciousness... but you wouldn't be able to tell anybody about it, share it, or even have a use for it!

I can see how that could collectively be a evolutionary step that happens with planets that has little beings like us doing what we do. going from individual masks-unique identities with the same desires, to a fractal becoming whole through this process of 'enlightenment' or 'awakening'... However i personally have no idea where i sit in any of this or even a belief in what i am saying, it does ring true within me.

However ultimately, anybody that is enlightened and awakened and those that are as opposite from that as you can be... there appears to be no difference to tell them apart, the enlightened ones..if they even are..cannot do anything special out of the norm such as a special ability/walking on water/whatever, or even have 'better' ideas/concepts or even have better answers to life's questions.

When the calendar comes to an end again, perhaps humanity will see it as a huge pivotal shift after all

-looks like i went on a aimless rant

The end of the Mayan calander was like the end of this years calander but on a much larer scale... unfortunately, they were conquered and obliterated before they could print a new one :( it's all just a measurement of time, which humans invented in the first place, rocks will circle gaseous balls of fire as they always have far beyond our existance with or without us counting revolutions.

Whatever it takes for humanity to wake up and be more conscious and in tune to each other, I'm all for it.. be it impending apocalypse, coming of a savior, a new boy band or a magic talking mushroom. Positive change is positive change! Our collective minds determine the outcome.

Now, off to eat some NY steak, baked mushrooms, mashed taters and a good helping of red wine :)

Peace brothers!

I had an incredibly powerful dream last night - Maybe we were a day off?
Has anyone else experienced really deep or powerful dreams the last few days?

Yes!! I have been lucid dreaming and astral projecting within and outside of my dreams for about the past 2 weeks. lastnight I became lucid then decided to fly directly into the sun, just imagine being face to face with the intence sun in full sound then traveling deep within it! It is an experience I will never forget. Also last week I noticed that I slipped out of bed my bed ass first, feeling nothing when I landed on the floor. When I looked up at my bed uhhh I was still in it sleeping;)

This is exactly correct. I'm not selling anything, just sharing a personal subjective understanding of the world and my own place in it. And as such, it cannot be quantified in an objective manner. The facts involved are only meaningful to me, as they are derived from my own experience.

Ahhh...Citta :)

Sarcasm is hard to read on the internet, if he was making a joke, then I apologize for highlighting ignorance that was not really there.

Purposefully designed by...[what is considered conspiracy like stuff, and thus verboten! So it will not be expounded upon]

Life itself is giving us that option. To the purely rational mindset I understand how it seems nonsensical. It is not concrete, but intuitive. Right brain stuff rather than left brain. Like a group of blind men feeling an elephant from different perspectives and trying to describe what it is to the others. There are similarities, but also differences, and no two are exactly the same but they have a general idea about it. It is there, you can feel it, you know its real, but it is hard to describe in accurate detail. Critical thinking fails as there is no frame of reference from the limited perceptions we have of reality to anchor an objective understanding. In other words, it is not something that can be shown, or passed on, or explained. It must be experienced. Understanding is further hindered by labeling those who are awakening to this new awareness as nonsensical, weird, delusional, quirky, crazy, silly, elitist, etc.

But you do realize that there are many here who understand this language that is being spoken. We are all trying to describe the elephant and have a common lexicon of the similarities that we are experiencing. To you the elephant doesn't even exist, so of course from a strictly critical point of view it is nonsense to even attempt to describe something that doesn't even exists in your frame of reference.

And this is the crux of the matter. It is THE question. From my perspective, the answer is simple and we have touched upon this before in other posts. A primacy of consciousness perspective rather than a primacy of matter perspective. Our true self/nature is consciousness, pure unadulterated consciousness, eternal. Who you truly are is that spark of awareness that exists before any experience has been imprinted upon you in physicality. The 'you' you believe yourself to be is an illusion. You are not your experiences. Anything you put after the statement; I Am...is not who you are. It is a story, a fiction you have been taught to tell yourself so that you navigate this perceived reality in a way that provides both learning experiences as well as a limited awareness that is more easily controlled. A lie designed to keep you from realizing your true power and divinity.

For a different analogy: Buddhist meditation and practices are just as much a foreign subject and language to one who hasn't studied it. When you delve into it, there are exercises designed for the individual to become aware of a greater reality. Experiments and methodologies that have been verified by millions of practitioners for thousands of years. Exercises designed for the individual to test a theory and come to a conclusion through personal experience. Repeatable, verifiable by anyone who chooses to study. Only you can test the hypothesis and it requires looking within, waking up, and searching for your true self. If you dedicated the same amount of time and effort as you would to become a master of quantum mechanics, don't you think you might just be able to discover who you truly are? Become a master of yourself?

I know exactly how strange and conspiracy-like it sounds. Doesn't make it any less true. The movie The Matrix is an awesome metaphor for what actually is. Just as in the movie, you cannot be told what the Matrix is, you have to see it for yourself and once seen it cannot be unseen. It has been kept hidden from the mass of humanity for reasons of control. This is a theme that has played out throughout all of recorded history and likely beyond. Mystery Schools, secret societies, an elite Priest Class, etc. But the truth could not be hidden forever.

The awakening ones are not elite, they are not better than anyone else, they have just awoken from the slumber that has been placed upon them. They are aware of the game being played. And it is just a big game. Anyone can figure it out, the evidence is all around you hidden in plain sight. But purely rational mindset will have more difficulty perceiving it as it is so pervasive in all aspects of reality as to be unbelievable in its scope. That and the fact that much of what we have been told is true, is in fact not. Thus you can rationally and logically come to a conclusion that is completely wrong.

Meditate. Turn off the TV. Question EVERYTHING, as almost everything you believe to be true is in fact false. If the answers to your questions don't lead to more questions, then it was no answer at all.

Look within. Seek that inner guidance, a voice that is waiting for you, ask questions. Only you can find yourself...

Excellent Citta! Don't buy what I am selling, as in fact, I know nothing. 😉

Couple of weeks ago I had a dream where some guy told me to pack my bags, I start a new job on the 23rd! It was one of the most vivid dreams I can remember.

Well, the 23rd is over and I started to think about it. Was it just a bullshit dream? Yep, but the funny thing is, is that my dad made a reference to DMT saying he had read about this substance that was used in the Amazon to approach different dimensions and meet with aliens. I wonder if someone wanted me to smoke my dad out. Sorry, DMT entities... I dont think I can do that. I wish I could but mom would not be pleased.

It's like; the me that was always there is free now, as if the program that kept it from self realizing its true infinite nature was somehow weakened or washed away. Everything is better now, even sounds sound like different sounds, scenes are seen as differences scenes.

Pickles taste sweeter than they used to. Salt tastes about the same, but even tap water tastes wonderful.
I've been living off of cheeseburgers since it happened, they used to be bad for me, but I can feel myself thriving now, becoming beefier, cheesier and growing the occasional sesame seed on my arms in place of hair.

My leather shoes woke me up in the night to tell me it was ok. They forgave me.
I realized then that everything has a sole.

I had a conversation with the toilet seat and learned why it is always so cold in the morning, so now I say hi to it first when I see it in the morning. It turns out that even for a toilet seat having someone whip their junk out first thing in the morning when they see you, and then proceed to defile you is a lot more comfortable after a friendly greeting,

I've become more sensitive. I cry sometimes when I read the ingredients on the labels of things. I always feel bad for those ingredients that are always 2% or less.

I can feel the words when I read them, I know they feel me, each one feeling me reading it. I hate reading things twice because I know it hurts some words feelings if you go back over them. The worst are misspelled words, they feel really self conscious. Kind of like if you woke up and your face was inside out and it was picture day everywhere you went.

Things were so much more boring before the apocalypse.
Thank god for evolution, and genitalia.
Wouldn't it suck if we evolved without genitials?
Then what would the point of life be?
Certainly not what it is today eh.
Accept Jesus or be forever doomed!

I also have another question: do you have the competence to speak about the relationship between quantum mechanics and religion? Because I believe I do to a certain degree, but not to say the least my collegues and professors, as well as the best phycisists of our time do, and there is hardly any connection, and most certainly no merging. That's hogwash.

Anything you think you know is just a believe as anybody else's Cita.

Do you think that the way you understand this plane is the only and right way ? I do not care really what your colleges and professors have to say because it is only A BELIEVE as anyone elses. Exactly the same believe as Christians or Buddhists or Hindus have.

Do you really think that some kind of degree given to you by this establishment will make your theory more truth ?
