Does this sound right?

I finished my first pull using the Q12 tek #2 and have a dish of nice looking pure white crystals.
So I have a couple of questions...

1. What is this stuff supposed to feel like?
It has been evaporating/drying with good air circulation for 24 hours but I touched one
of the crystals and it smeared and felt like oil/wax.
Does that sound right, or are they supposed to be crunchy dry?

2. I have heard about re-crystallization or re-x...is that something I should look into?

Yes it should be a bit waxy, doing a re-x will make the crystals a bit more stable. But if it's been let to stand for 24 hours I'd say it's good to go if you want to test your spice.
