Try doing some deep meditation, he might visit you with his energy. There is 9 days I was told before passed away beings go on their final journey. Ask him to visit you before he goes and meditate on that.

Love it, your energy is appealing my guyAh, how sad. Even though loss touches us all, it is never any easier when it is our turn, especially with something so sudden.
How fitting to place his mortal remains to rest as you have done - living flowers are a perfect way of showing the beauty and the ephemeral nature of life. While planting my newly-sprouted acacia seeds one will receive my dedications to your late pup, if that's OK with you.

My dog died when he was in a farm with my father.
My old man cried like a little child, and buried him only one day after.
My dog teached me to be a better person. Sometimes we have so many bad experiences in life that you forget you are a good person. My dog reminded me that kindness is still possible. Other thing I learned from him is resilience. You only know resilience when you watch a Pit Bull complete a task. He doesn't give up. Never. That's why a angry Pit Bull is a problem: he's strong and he doesn't give up.
You'll learn to live the rest of your life without him, just remember the lessons he teached you. It helped me a lot.
