Dopesick Datura the Sage of Synchronicity

Migrated topic.
I'm still here browsing the nexus and It's all good and well that you are having your preconceptions about me without actually making any effort to understand that I am just like any other one on this forum but more mystically inclined than most. All this was was an introduction to my style of thought... and I definitely do not know more than most. If anything I only know myself more than others will ever know THEMselves.

How can you know that you are more “mystically inclined” than most on this forum?

How can you be certain that you know yourself more than others will ever know themselves?

Just as importantly...how can you claim these things alongside enlightenment? Seems a bit of a contradiction to me, along the lines of telling us how you're the most humble person alive. *shrug*

I can only speak for what I myself have experienced and what I have gotten from life. I admit I am a selfless being and that all knowledge is paradoxical and In truth there is no truth so I do not know these things for sure. But how can you tell me you know what being sure about something is? I know because I know and if I am not harming anyone but merely sparking a discussion of the other world than there is no need to get edgy or rude or doubtful. Mere conversation will prevail... so let us stay calm and submit to our feelings and post on.

I realize I speak in contradictions, many of them but that is the nature of communication.

^ Yeah :]
Just a random, unrelated story.
Once, when I was thirteen, I was at my cousin's house in NZ for the holidays. My uncle's family had much less money than my family did in Australia, and as such I'd played many video games, they had played few, they were actually still happy to play play station one! Anyway, I really looked up to Hosea, my cousin. He was sixteen at that time, and the eldest of three, so he was good at taking care of us. One day, during this holiday, another, younger cousin came to stay, and he started talking about this game, it was a ps2 game, about dogs. You could be a dog, and see smells, and stuff, I don't remember the name, but the name isn't important. My younger cousin started going on about how he had played this game, but I knew he hadn't! I knew it, because what he said didn't make any sense at all! I was outraged, he was trying to impress Hosea with lies, and Hosea was falling for it! So I voiced my shock, I made it known by all that he was a deceiver, and that he couldn't possibly have played the game, upon which, to my surprise, Hosea gave me a look of utter disappointment. He didn't say anything, he just brushed it all aside quickly and we all had a good time playing some shooter, all except me.

Imo, you are not "sparking a discussion" of anything. You merely use a lot of words to say nothing and I find nothing meritorious in that...but that's just my opinion. 😉

I think that it is time for Dopesick Datura to share some of his aetheric knowledge with us before this thread goes any further.

I think nexus members need to show more restraint here.

Constant badgering and blatant attacks, no matter how passive they may seem, never solved a thing. The situation is simple, if we don't like it we should stop posting here, if we feel the comments actually encourage dangerous or perhaps life threatening behavior, close the thread.

Any inclination of possible danger to another members well being needs to be dealt with in the most serious manner. Remember what this website is for, and how few we truly are.

Yes, aside from opinions and perceptions of him, he did mention that he did have things to share. I'm curious to find out what these things are.

Enter: Dopesick

I feel a lot of of people read things in their own light here. Who are you to say that hes wrong in anything he says? And again who is anyone to push any of their own opinions onto anyone else?

He is a new member, of course he should come off like he did. He has never been here, he doesn't understand how the Nexus is, and he's just getting acclimated. Give him some slack. I mean I really feel the need to post this, so I will:
I thought you were enlightened?

I mean.... really?

Anyways aside from all this hoopla, and 3 pages of mostly flame and banter....

Welcome to the Nexus Dopesick Datura (although I would strongly suggest a name change when you realize what you want to be known as) and I hope you give more than what you take. Cause that makes the world continue ;)

You come off as an esoteric person, Dopesick Datura. I am not implying a negative connotation in any shape or form. I don't know you on a personal level, just as anyone else on this forum doesn't. Have you delved into the works of Alejandro Jodorowsky, George Gurdjieff, or others of that realm, by any chance? I'm sure you know datura stramonium has a bad track record, as others have gravely emphasized -- probably why you haven't embarked on a true datura experience. Meth, personally, seems like a low-grade pleasure which would only satiate the flesh, and is highly detrimental towards one's health. You seem like a person who can come to the conclusion that these substances are really of no intrinsic value for the likes of yourself; then again, I may be wrong, I am just going by my own interpretation of your persona. I might just be stating the obvious for you, but it would be a shame for someone of your stature or potential to fall to petty substances such as datura and meth.

Was going to post that link myself yesterday but had things to do. Still funny thread and hopefully dopesick will see the hilarious side, that post by gibran was class

Dear Dopesick!

Your posts remind me of being 18: not feeling vulnerable at all, and considering my first psychedelic experiences (with lsd and mushrooms) as my ultimate awakening. As the years passed by, and I embarked on diverse journeys, led by powerful plant teachers, I started to realize my nothingness. It seems you are searching for enlightenment through all sorts of practices that will definitely not help you towards reaching your goal - I refer to heroin and datura at this point. It doesn't worth experimenting with these, as they bring suffering and confusion. And you are no exception!

The fact that you started to navigate on this forum and that you're keen on finding out more on the limitless possibilities healing plants provide, means you've already opened a door towards yourself. :) I advise you start meditating, weed is a soft yet deep guide for contemplation, before you begin experimenting with ayahuasca, for example. I also suggest you do some reading, you'll find a great deal of answers to your questions in Adyashanti's books, regarding the true nature of spiritual practice. You can download his books from here.

wishing you conscious thoughts through humbling journeys,

drishti
