I know you probably clicked on this thread thinking I found out a method.. No unfortunately I am asking for one. :}

Options I can think of...

- Custom. Make yourself used to it, brewing light amounts and progressively going for higher doses.
- Keep the amount small. The less volume you have to deal with, the better.
- Pinch your nose. A great deal of taste is actually smell.
- Pour it as close to your throat as possible.
- Have something ready for the aftertaste. Chase the tea with fresh water, sweet juice or some fruit (mango, apple...)
- Numb your tongue before a little with an ice cube.
- For sour teas, you can use miracle fruit before drinking.
- Have some ginger or lemon essential oil ten minutes before drinking. It might not alter the taste much, but will help prevent nausea.
...

vodsel that miracle fruit idea is awesome i never remember that great thing, it would be perfect for vile ethno teas.

The only thing to keep in mind is that miraculin (the glycoprotein responsible for the effects of miracle fruit) is not activated at neutral pH, so to make it work the tea should be acidic.

The acidification of teas like rue with lemon or vinegar is often discouraged because the taste becomes even nastier, but if you take a miracle fruit cap a few minutes before the tea, that dash of lemon juice in the brew might actually improve the taste instead of making it worse.

So are you essentially saying to add lemon to my tea?

I just read the other posts you did. Nice! I am going to try to do a combo of those, having fruit after, numbing my tongue lol and all. I don't want to waste so the easier the better.

no miracle fruit is a berry that changes sweet things sour and sour things sweet so in turn if you acidified your brew and used miracle berry before ingesting then it would taste sweet. dont just go add a bunch of fruit juice and lemon and vinegar and expect it to be good lol

Wow that's amazing.. Miracle berries are kinda hard to get aren't they?

Well I won't do it this time, But it is certainly interesting.

hold your nose (really. It helps) and take a bite of fresh ginger after each shot. That's what I've found to work the best anyways. I also like to smoke lots of cannabis, but I'm pretty sensitive to the nausea of the cacti.

Make sure after you drink it to spit out the saliva that forms in your mouth instead of swallowing it. I always keep a spit/purge bucket close at hand. I will chew the ginger piece for 10 seconds or so and swallow a little saliva with that, but then spit it out, and any saliva that accumulates

And don't be afraid to purge once the medicine has worked in. It can be the most amazing and healing experience.

great question. i love, and have gotten quite accustomed to, covering my tongue in honey and then downing wutevr absurdly horrible tasting thing i'm about to put upon myself. then it might be good to spit out what's left. i haven't done it enough to be able to say spitting out the excess honey would be better than swallowing it.

I've been taught that avoidance of calories is very useful with this medicine. From my experiences I would tend to agree.

hmmmmm... perhaps some big leaf of basil or something on your tongue as you pour it in the back of your throat as mentioned before.

Seems like, without having to buy any extra stuff, the best things that you have laying around are ( these are what I used for my past experience )

-Ice your tongue, try to get all spots or you will taste it on other places such as the back of your tongue..Don't let it sit in your mouth too long or the numbing will go away.
-Do not drink an acidic drink to wash it down or you will end up with a very acidic stomach the next morning(or about 12hours after).
-Hold your nose.

If you follow these three steps you should be great to get down that divine tea of yours!
