Here's another article about the same raid. One person said "He was manufacturing this stuff outside on the weekends, smoking cigars, glass trays, and he was putting them out in the sun."

Sounds like a simple extraction to me...

It is and it isn't the be all and end all of DMT information, I would suspect many short sited people wouldn't look any further than erowid.

From what I read in another article on this same case, the police got an anonymous tip that he was running a meth lab. They watched his house for about 1 month and then decided to move in. They must have seen some suspicious behavior.

I'd like to know the details behind what caused the police to finally make a move.

They keep mentioning that he was synthesizing DMT, not extracting it. Is this just because they don't know what they're talking about or was he actually synthesizing it? In several reports they mention he had an elaborate lab.

This guy had been arrested before for making counterfeit money and also for selling drugs and was on parole at the time of this arrest, so he was definitely on their radar before getting the anonymous tip.

In one report they mention he had barrels of butane. That's odd.

It doesn't sound like your typical guy extracting DMT at home from mimosa or psychotria. Having several barrels of butane is very dangerous and way more than a person would ever need if they were simply extracting DMT for their own personal use.

The bottom line is that it is illegal to manufacture and sell DMT period. If you're going to extract it, synthesize it, etc., you better be very cautious about who you talk to about it. And you'd better not do anything out of the ordinary that might draw attention to your home. And most importantly, DO NOT SELL IT. If you sell it, it's just a matter of time before you get caught.

People should push for it's legalization. I'd like to see it made legal so all this nonsense can come to an end.

DMT is released only two times in your life. When your born, and when you die. If you stay in pitch black, like a cave for five days. Small amounts are secreted so you don't lose the use of your eyes. And salvia is stronger. Its illegal because it's bad for you. Not like heroin bad. but like LSD bad. Its also called heaven and hell. If you have a good trip its heaven, a bad its hell. People do drugs, and drugs do addicts

Thanks for posting that link. We should all leave intelligent, respectful comments about the benefits and safeness of DMT whenever we come across an article like this. Pointing out how aya is a Christian sacrament (Daime & UDV) etc to try to get over the cultural ignorance of the average reader. We have to expose the government's propoganda for what it is. This guy did it reasonably well (no idea who he is!)...

NN-DMT is completely safe. It occurs naturally in all of us. Even if this guy was profiteering from making DMT, so what, it's better than profiteering in oil and guns like THEY do. If everyone tried DMT, the world would be a better place. It's nothing like LSD. It is a life changing event that motivates people to improve their lives, to treat others better and to make the world a better place. Shame on those who attempt to oppress its use. Shame on the American government, with their guns and bombs and war and murder. And God bless DMT.
