Good can't wait 1ce, put some pics up and what you did
I'm cleaning up that ultra strong extract, but the downside is the addition of vg makes the filtration hard as hell. I'm using nipro 10cc disposable syringe and a whatman 22um syringe filter, ptfe. Can't do it in the solvent because dcm will eat plastic, and that oppertunitt has long [ast anyway.
from filtration there does appear to be a minor amount of separation, so I'll heat/stirr everything again later and homogonize it again for an hour, should be good as new.
The ejuice I am fixing was the one extracted from ipa. from what I've learned it is imperative you filter BEFORE adding VG. Probably once it has been dissolved in PG, filter, add VG, mix with heat, and homogenize.
DCM is definitely the solvent of choice imho. It appears to leave many of the terpenes behind though. So what I'm thinking is I can first make a potent ejuice by cutting the flowers into chunks, sonicating in dcm, filtering, adding flavor/pg/vg, then homogenizing. Finally, I can go back to the cannabis, grind it up, dissolve in another solvent like EtAc, or azeotropic ethanol, and sonicate it again. Maybe directly in the sonicator as 1L of either isn't hard to come by. Afterwords, vacuum purging with a cold trap should suffice to collect and isolate the terpines.
Terpines could always be added afterwords, mixed, and homogenized to give a fresh cannabis taste to your extracted ejuice. Might be worth keeping a vial of terpines from high qualitt bud to add to low quality bud extract.
