Sure, acid extractions only make sense with bigger amounts of bark, just like STBs are better fitted to lower amounts.

So, which method did you prefer doing ?

Well in this case I believe numbers speak for themselves, as others also seem to agree by comparison for example. A/B vs STB Comparison (pics) + FINAL TALLY! - Advanced/Enhanced chemistry - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus

Perhaps more direct comparisons might be tallied up to get a better idea if one really is better than the other, or if it is just chance, but I find that unlikely if the bark used is from the same batch with the same solvent.

(There is still more crystallizing in heptane, a very small but I believe significant amount for this yield)

I meant, which tek do you prefer executing ?

With a bit of practice, one can get very similar results with A/B and STB, so I was more interested in your thoughts and impressions than numbers

Though much of my method after the boils is exactly the same as the way I do an STB, I prefer this because it's less messy. Getting dry pulverized bark into the thin bottle stem is such a pain, but not when it's a hydrated sludge.
