Cyb hybrid tek using 50g powder mhrb

In the 1L right now:

50G mhrb
200ML water + 60ML Vinegar
Heat bath 3 hour sit
100ml+ 30g sea salt
50g lye+200ML water
Add 140ML water
Heat bath
Add 50ML Naptha
Gentle stir 3x per 8 minutes

Result: First 3 gentle stirs had separation from basified mix, on 4th waited same time and no separation.

Thus far trying to separate(after reading many articles) added maybe 30ML water, dash of salt and dash of lye. Took mix out of heat bath and can see tiiiiny bubles coming up but after 10 minutes no noticeable change.

Help.

leave it to sit overnight see if it settles out by the morning, next time dont stir it so much.. i find gently rolling the vessel on your lap with one hand on each end so it almost gets a full rotation each side being careful not to make it glug so go slow and steady works really well. when the vessel is tipped on its side a lot more of the solvent comes into contact with the bark soup.

i usually do 8 seperate 4 minute rolls for each pull i do this in sets of 2 so while one set is resting for 4 mins the other set gets the 4 minute roll, hope that makes sense, usually when its kept warm its hard to form an emulsion with naphtha you must have shaken it up a lot!

Double the water.
Add 750ml of hot tap water with 100g of non iodized salt and stir it in gently but thoroughly with a long handled spoon.
I'll bet you it separates overnight and there will be a kind of wiggly greyish purple layer between the aqueous and NP. Keep it out of the naptha but don't throw it away - there is still naptha in there.
Post your results.

Yes, add water to your vessel, leaving enough room to put in the nap (if its a 1litre bottle) Don't over heat, just warm is fine or cooler if in doubt.
I've seen it take nearly two hours to sep on one users mix before...strange but it does happen. It gets better with later pulls as the mix settles down. :)

After adding a bit of water lye and salt everything became happy again. So far 2 pulls have yielded 1g. I may break a record with this one. 😁
