Emulsion like I've never seen

So I doubled the solution volume with filtered water and it started separating immediately.

Gonna let it sit a day then decant.

So simple.

Sadly I don't have a giant sized separation apparatus, so gonna have to do old school tricks to get it off. Stainless steel soup ladle and inverted funnel, unless anyone else knows any other cool tricks to skim 1-2cm of solvent off 3-4L of soup in a large pot.

Did you defat the cruna leaves beforehand ? that's one thing I remember, that seemed needed with leaves iirc.

Well, the DMT should be around somewhere. You said you added ethanol, right? That may messed up the partition into solvent (?).

Before throwing it away, I would acidify, dry, and start over.

It's continuing to separate. I have another 150ml of solvent today and I haven't really tried to clean it up. I'm not giving up yet.
