So, I just got a bsg of caapi leaves. I ground up 6 grams into powder and placed in a container with 50ml ISO and 50ml of vodka (IDK I just decided to try it). The consensus seems to be to soak for a few weeks, bit that seems like overkill. Dovypu guys think that putting the 100ml/6gram solution in a double boil setup would greatly speed up the process of extraction.
I've done this with Cannabis tinctures with great results. I'm just surprised that I haven't found more posts on this subject.
Just bring the solution to right below ethanols evap temp and stir for a few minutes and maybe add ethanol when some eventually evaps and than strain and put the harmalas onto whatever lesf you want to infuse?
