Ethanol

What sort of hydrolizing agent would you suggest to extract pure ethanol from high proof booze(bacardi 151)? It doesn't exactly need to be food grade safe, as long as it's easy to separate, if not, then yeah.....safe to ingest.

you could try drying over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, or distill with benzene to get absolute ethanol.
