Evaporating Naphtha after Freeze Precipitation.

Okay, so when I pulled my tray out of the freezer, there was definitely some white fluff in there. I set it up with a fan to blow on it for an hour. When I checked on it, all the runny naphtha was gone, but there was like "stuck on" tiny clear globs without any white fluff whatsoever.

Is this a problem others have had? What am I doing wrong?

Well a sound procedure...
If everything was done right (no deviations)...then I'm afraid the only remaining conclusion is that you possibly have bunk bark.
It's been reported before... too often it seems.

I got the same white stuff, quite a bit from 100 grams. It floats in the naphtha at the coldest setting of the freezer, sound like what you got?

I'm currently trying to see if this cfc (cold-freeze-cycle) method works to crystalize. I'll report back.

Thanks, No prob, you could dissolve the goo with more naphtha if this cfc works. I hope it works, but if not some gooey changa will do :thumb_up:

I'm trying to discern the differencs between Goos. LOL!:?

Is the "goo" at the bottom of your shotglass AFTER a recrystallization the same material that an inferior bark that refuses to crystallize produces??? SWIM ended up with about 5 grams of "goo" after a recent re-x of some full spectrum A. Confusa extracted alkaloids, and now knows NOT what to do with it from there {if anything}??? :?

Since I had a nasty experience yesterday (3 large tokes, billowing smoke, and mostly only nauseous consequences), I have given up on the goo. I'm far too worried that the goo itself (an incredibly sticky, gum-like substance) is riddled with dangerous impurities. That paranoia is not healthy for any trip.

I had presumed the teks were explanatorily exhaustive, but there seems to be much wisdom scattered throughout the forum, and I don't know how to efficiently piece it all together (e.g., I never even saw the cool-freeze cycle mentioned before; I only recently saw the "freeze for 24-48 hours" recommendation; etc.). Hey, Nexus elders, "Search" is more a needle in a haystack than a serious aid! :lol: If I knew what I was doing, I'd be tempted to create a wiki compendium for "How to work around all the common problems" advice.

My goo today, when looked at on the glass tray, seemed like tiny translucent globs covering the surface. When scraped, it turns into the colored goo. But it all smelled strongly like naphtha. I don't feel safe with that. I pitched it all.

I'm going the huasca route with the remaining ACRB. That will likely be a more meaningful experience, anyway (or so goes the often-asserted claim).
