HELLO to you all. THis topic regards an issue i have found with the law in general. I'll keep it short and sweet. Basically in australia dmt containing plants are illegal to cultivate so how can this be true when everybody has phalaris grass growing in there yard. [5-meo}[dmt}

the laws may vary in your country but isn't this just an outrage?? we at any point can be arrested and prosecuted if some cops learnt some more info about the law.

What is your opinion?? I would love to hear what can be done with such a disgraceful law.:(

Also, don't forget the role of racism in the initial marijuana propaganda/legislation

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"the word 'dagga' originates from an old Khoi word - 'dacha' - which was the original name for the cannabis plant ... this was then 'Afrikanerised' by the authorities such that the phonetic 'Ga' - an expression of disgust in Afrikaans - was incorporated into the word for its emotional effect." As a result, "dagga has since become a highly stigmatised and sensitive word" even as it has also become the popular name in South Africa (and thus is used in this article) for what is globally known as cannabis."

"America is largely responsible for the worlds’ archaic views on cannabis. It all started with one man, Harry J Anslinger. After prohibition of alcohol had ended, Anslinger was appointed head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics.

“Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death.”

“Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.”"

wow this kind of brings to mind a lyric the band incubus,we should learn to love ourselves before its made illegal the most ridiculous laws are being made and if we indeed ourselves contain dmt the law made is quite bizarre(though it crossed my mind if the exact location is found would extractions be possible:grin: hehe)joke,but marc emery had a sort of good idea to this with cannabis as to the rate at which its created it wont be able to be destroyed by the goverments with their capital and doggies oh yeah and the sniffer dogs ofcourse haha,what should be known is we are far more in our numbers than the people who make these laws but im guessing the comfort of the illusion we are being taken care of brings a kind of lazy/passive mindset to let it just happen,but stating the obvious the power lies with us,people just have to get over each other,their illusions and the fact that change can be made without violence,i wonder if all the causes such as greed and power hunger though is a goverment constructed thing or just human nature and the reason wondering is if someday our oppresive goverment is overthrown some way,will our need to always be taken care of again be at work someone gets put in that position gets the power trip and on goes the cycle kind of like the book "lord of flies"but viewing the ways things work in the system it looks really constructed over years of what we been fed literally and mentally

yeah the law is ridiculous but when it comes to dmt based plants are people actually getting charged? i wonder what direction the world will move in in years to come? Will we Aussies be pulling out our native trees to destroy them cause the law said so.

the laws over here are silly, yes.. but you'd never get in trouble for simply having phalaris grass or a dmt containing acacia growing in your backyard... its just too widespread. You'd only run into strife if it was clear your intent was to extract-and if you keep to yourself and be a bit smart about it you'll likely never run into trouble. This is another good reason not to extract for profit and rather for personal use. DMT is not particularly sought out over here even though the laws on it are ridiculous. Authorities are too busy busting hard drugs like meth- heroin- cocaine and..... dum dum dum....MARIJUANA (mwahahhaha).

....there's so many dmt containing acacia's growing around australia and many would be in people's backyards who don't even know what the hell "dmt" is. it would be far too impractical for authorities to go after every person with a dmt containing plant in their backyard... i just can't imagine it happening considering they would rarely come accross dmt anyways.
