EXPECTED YEILD

Good day Team,

I have been doing a A/B extraction in 150g batches of 1KG.

My question is what yeild can one expect doing the extraction this way? Lets say all goes well.

Is 1.5g spice per 150g root bark a win? That would be 1%. Is there anyone out here getting 4%, or is that unrealistic?

I recently got 4.5g from approx 250g MHRB in a lazy extraction I did over a couple of weeks, my first pull resulted in 3.415g, after that I had emulsion problems which I slowly solved and recovered most of the Naphtha, the next pulls were 0.73g and 0.35g.
I was in no rush at all with my process, mostly all done a room temperature until the emulsion problems at which point I diluted with a salt solution and warmed to aid separation.
I'd started by acidifying my MHRB powder and Freezing and Thawing around 6x, I did a slow cooker cook on it for about 8 hours, then refroze until I had time for the rest of the process.
I based and let it sit in the alkaline state for about 1 week before adding Naphtha, then my pulls were over multiple days while I dealt with the emulsion issues, separating clear naphtha as and when enough had settled out before doing a free precipitation and on the later pulls a full evaporation.

I think all this means I was getting about 1.8% Yield overall, as you can see my process could have been better and much faster but I'm happy my efforts got a good return and perseverance paid off.
