i am intersted of making some CHANGA with harmala
I have some extracted harmala alkaloids
i just wonder the ratio is 22:1 is what I was told.
how much do i need for 1 gram of changa ? or 1 gr of spice

In the name of harm reduction, I will go ahead and say that I have never heard of anyone making a changa blend which was even close to 22:1. Whoever told you that either has a very unique (and possibly dangerous) preference for their changa, or they are wildly misinformed.

Also, "22:1" means nothing unless you say "22:1 spice to harmalas" or "22:1 harmalas to spice". A much better place to start would be 1:1:1 (1 part leaf matter, 1 part spice, and one part harmala alkaloids). Beyond that, it all comes down to personal preference.

its not about the spice ratio.It says its pure alkaloids..

i have done some reseach but got confused with harmala
i have read some people just add passion flower,some people add just capi leave,and some make enchane 10x ,regarding the harmala i have read that people used much less than 1 gr harmala
like used 0.2
so i have got confused what is best ratio

In my opinion, you'd be much better off extracting the harmalas from the rue. It is a very simple process, and you would be able to gauge your alkaloid ratios much more accurately.

I have yet to see any information regarding Syrian Rue seeds in changa. I would guess that this is due to the fact that Syrian Rue seeds are not ideal for smoking.

what do u think ? people do smoke caapi powder frov the VINE not the leaf

That sounds like extracted and reasonably purified harmala alkaloids allright. You can use those as is IF they are in the free-base form. The freebase is usually colored off-white to tan to light brown. If you have the HCl salt form of the alkaloid, which is usually brightly yellow colored, you must rebase it first. This is explained elsewhere on the site.

Personally, I add harmalas to changa in about half the amount of spice. The ratio of carrier herb can vary from equal weigth of the alkaloids to fourfould. Equal weight leads to a potent mix that is easy to breakthrough on, but is also more difficult to measure. More dilute mixes are easier to dose and better suited for sub-breakthrough use.
